Atex is a global manufacturing and service organisation that provides cost effective solutions for process safety to the powder handling industry.

The ATEX GMBH Group founded in 1992 employs around 150 people worldwide with experts in all areas covering initial design stages all the way to on-site technical support, system maintenance and 24/7 services.

As one of the internationally leading developers of advanced Fire and Explosion Prevention and Protection Systems Atex understands its customers need for reliable solutions that prevent events from happening by producing early warnings and that, in case of an event, facilitate the appropriate protection at the same time as keeping downtime and thus production loss to an absolute minimum.

Headquartered in Germany

To achieve this Atex uses its large test and manufacturing site at its headquarters in Germany for product development and industrial-scale testing. Sales and Services offices are located around the world, in Oceania, North and South America, Asia and Europe, to achieve our goal of being as close to our customers as possible.
